Running Diaries Week 1
I have a cold and I reeeeeaaalllly didn't want to go. Armed with my training schedule that said I had to run a long, slow 6km I had to laugh - I have one speed only - SLOW!
BUT I have been inspired, encouraged and motivated. I have signed up for a second go at the Kerikeri half marathon, so, with my camera in hand (in the essence of 'The Yes Man"), and sparing a thought for all those lovely ladies out there that need to negotiate childcare before they can do something nice for themselves, I left this:

and these:and these:and went on my first training run.
These are some of the things I saw:
The view from our front door.
The view from the top of our driveway - do you see the ocean?
Our street.
Looking back at our house from the street.
Our letterbox (don't worry, it gets better, I was just practicing running and taking photos at the same time but then I thought, "well maybe someone in blogland would like to see where I live").
Lots of these (can you believe they all faced the camera and posed?)
More posers.Yup, total posers! (But who cares when you're THIS CUTE?)
My first car passing!
Ahh the serenity!
Jus' keepin' it real.
Back to the good stuff!
These guys were singing a lovely song.
Our local school. And check out their view:(Not sure what happened to the lens).
After that I turned around and went back home.
I ran for: 45 minutes
I felt: Invigorated
Have a lovely weekend bloggers!

Good on you!!
I feel the cold in those photos. Such beautiful scenery. If I took photos on my run you'd be bored silly looking at passing cars..... does motivate me to keep running up the hill and not walk though I'm so vain.
Awesome. Keep it up!
MMM what amazing scenery to run in. You really are blessed!
Amazing photo's - you are awesome!!
You go sista! whens the marathon? man wish i had it in me to do one of those
yay you! I feel quite inspired too to run a half (but shhhhh. don't tell anyone!). I think if I had this to look at, I'd go running all day everyday!
so was quite a bit of stopping to take photos then and not a lot of actual running ?? LOL
